Several race teams left this morning around 8 to drive down to Daytona Beach; although I would guess they all did.
I saw about 15 of the teams driving on 77 & 485 - right over the NC/SC state line.
Just a quick little update for everyone!

I’ll start off by saying: I hope everyone looked at my testing pictures, that wanted to, and enjoyed them.
All-Star week is here! Actually it’s almost over, since it’s almost Thursday here; but I hope everyone is looking forward to the All-Star Race. I know I’m super excited, because I’ll be going, and we have pit […]
It’s time again to vote drivers into the All-Star Race!
So let’s all go to nascar.com & vote Elliott Sadler in about 9000 times each! =]
Note: You have to be logged in to vote.
Kyle Busch is officially hotter than fire now.
He won today’s Nationwide Series race, and he’s still the points leader in the Truck Series, 2nd in the Sprint Cup Series, and currently still 3rd in the Nationwide Series.
Soon I will be adding one of those word puzzles that everyone will have to solve in order to be able to post a comment. […]
FIRST: Whoever is leaving me the stupid, pointless, spam comments needs to stop. It’s not like I can’t see the IP address & the post that was commented. It was happening before; then it stopped, now it’s started again. Not sure why; there’s really no reason for it on this site.
Second: All weekend I wasn’t online because I went […]
I just saw a list of all the cars that crashed in practice this afternoon; every one of them was a Dodge! Weird…
- Juan Montoya
- Reed Sorenson
- Bobby Labonte
- Kasey Kahne
- Sam Hornish Jr
- Patrick Carpentier
I’m very surprised Larry Mac didn’t point that out.
SUPER ironic that the race is the UAW-Dodge 400 also.
I’ve been thinking about this rule; trying to analyze it from both sides. So far I’ve come to the conclusion that the Top 35 is actually a good thing, but I also understand why people want it to be thrown out.
If the Top 35 didn’t even exist, if everyone had to qualify to earn a spot in the race, […]
This is basically just a post for random updates I’ve seen different places. I haven’t written in such a long time, I thought an ‘everything’ post would be good.
First: Elliott Sadler has a whole page picture in the newest Sports Illustrated (the Daytona 500 edition). Pretty good for him considering he hasn’t won Daytona, and […]
As a lot of you know, Robby Gordon has a single car race team, with only his number 7 car. He previously had an arrangement with Robert Yates Racing to use their Ford engines. It was announced Feb. 1st that he will now be using Gillett-Evernham Dodge engines for the 2008 season. This is a huge undertaking for him, considering the […]
We now have Daytona 500 tickets; as of tonight!
We’re sitting right at the last pit stall, 14 rows up; which in my opinion, is a perfect seat. Just enough past the start/finish line, even with pit road exit, and close enough to the track, but not too close. =]
Perfect.
