“Kyle drives like a girl,” Truex said. “I mean,  come on. We’re out here racing for fun. We had a hell of a battle. I had a lot of fun racing today with him, and then I had a huge run and he just blocked me. I pretty much knew he was going to do it. I had such a run and had to go.“I know he is trying to protect his teammate to win, but I felt that we had the car to win. I felt we had the best car all day.”

Well, first of all, I never saw this quote back from the Nationwide Series race at Daytona.
Second, I’ve analyzed this quote and now I’m going to give my opinion; because I think it’s a good one. I just randomly came across it, and I guess I want to rant for a minute about it. =]

Martin says Kyle drives like a girl, but then he gives an example that has nothing to do with that statement.  The racing ‘for fun’ thing makes absolutely no sense, because it’s a points race. These drivers can say it’s all just ‘fun’, but I’m not going to believe that junk; they want points and they want wins. Then the part where he says he had fun racing Kyle… well then why did you bring up Kyle’s driving style anyway? (I think that’s quite humorous.)
Of course he’s going to block you… it’s Kyle Busch!

And actually I like Kyle’s reply here:

Grow up, bud.  What do you want me to do, pull over?

That sounds like exactly something I would say. ‘Get over it’ basically.

addition: Tony Stewart finished 1st; Kyle Busch finished 2nd. Martin Truex was out of the Top 10.
Again, why did Martin complain about Kyle blocking him? Because he wanted a win and points, but didn’t get it.
